    Vital Skills Training provides a customized program for building interpersonal and social proficiencies that may not come naturally. This training focuses on techniques to improve communication, relationship building, emotional regulation, and other essential competencies. With a strengths-based approach, the program helps participants boost self-confidence while developing skills for greater personal well-being and professional success. Through interactive coaching and hands-on practice, individuals gain strategies to navigate social situations, collaborate effectively, and articulate needs.

  • Employment Support

    This service provides dedicated assistance with securing employment for individuals who may face unique challenges in the job search process. By understanding the strengths and needs of each person on the autism spectrum, the program can help generate appropriate job opportunities and guide individuals through the placement process. Fidgetech takes the time to get to know each person as an individual, taking into account their skills, interests, and ideal work environment. We then leverage their connections with various employers to match qualified candidates to open internships or positions.

Meet your vital skills instructor: Torri Wright

Torri Wright Ma.Ed. has over 10 years of experience in the education field. Torri began their career in 2008 as a Special Education Teacher for the Beaverton School District. During their time there, they were able to increase student mainstreaming potential and The students' attendance increased and overall behavior decreased as confidence grew within mainstream settings. In 2012, they founded and became the CEO of BEHCA, LLC, a web-based application designed to help families, educators, and support providers find the underlying causes of behavior. Additionally, they serve as a Behavior Consultant, Family Advocate, and Coach for schools, state, and other agencies in need of behavior analysis and assessments, FBA (Functional Behavior Assessment). Torri also provides keynote speaking on topics such as Neurodiversity, Changing Our Perspectives, and To Conform or Not to Conform.

Torri Wright Ma.Ed. began their educational journey in 2003 when they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) from the University of Phoenix in the field of Criminalistics and Criminal Science. Torri then continued their education in 2007, graduating with a Master of Arts (M.A.) from Pacific University in Special Education and Teaching.
